when nature attacks

as i was sitting on the back porch this evening, a frog jumped off the window and landed on my shoulder. again. this happened three times last summer. a frog jumps off the window, lands on my right shoulder, and just sits there, FOUR TIMES now. i guess that means today is the start of frogs-jumping-on-my-shoulder season.

so far i've managed to shake them all off onto the porch without injuring any of them. (i refuse to even entertain the notion that it might be the same frog over and over again. this is freaky enough already.)

is this a sign that suggests i'm too complacent? i thought so originally, but the fact that it happens over and over again is having the opposite effect. this time i was barely startled at all. there was never that "auugh what the hell is on my shoulder" feeling, my brain automatically registered "frog." the next time i might even let it sit there awhile. maybe i can find out what the hell they think they're doing.
